The Holy Grail of Engineering & Product Squads
Much has been said about the concept of product squads, made popular by companies like Spotify and Netflix. The hypothesis being that squads – small, flexible teams that are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of each product – enable autonomous teams to exist, encouraging ownership and predictable project velocity.
In this conversation, Ridzwan seeks to demonstrate the adoption of squads in SEA startup organisations, the maturity and effectiveness of the implementations. He will further share his findings on other models of product structure commonplace to startup organisations in SEA and how the maturity of the product teams he has seen compares to counterparts in other regions.
He will end off the talk with his recommendations on how you as a product leader can decide what might be the right move for your organization.
