Make your teams run better
Do you know the feeling of wanting to ship customer value faster with your team?
After working with software teams on 5 different continents for over a decade, I’ve experienced that, although there are cultural differences, it’s always the same types of things that hamper the performance of teams. Developers are waiting for other developers to complete dependencies. Specifications and priorities change mid-sprint, for example because of stakeholder feedback. Designs or assets are not quite ready, so development can’t be completed. Specifications are unclear or were misunderstood. Engineers spend days getting unimportant details right. Lots of resources are used to fix bugs instead of building features. Etcetera.
Do you recognise any of these symptoms? In this talk you’ll learn what you can do as a Product Manager/Executive to make your team(s) run smooth and ship value fast and frequently. I’ll use concrete examples of my experiences in India and Vietnam as these are closest to Singapore, the home of the new edition of PMF.
