Anurag is a global product & business leader with expertise in successfully building and scaling global cross-functional teams, revenue-generating products and lines of business in the consumer Internet domain across mobile and digital platforms. During the last 15 years, Anurag has worked in the US and India with leading organizations including Nokia, Microsoft & OLX. He is recognized as a versatile, collaborative and result-oriented product leader who consistently delivers on business goals & high-impact strategic initiatives by putting together high-performing teams, processes and technologies, and building innovative products that grow consumer engagement, market share and revenue. At present, Anurag is the Vice President – Products at the OLX Group, the world’s leading classifieds company. Prior to this, Anurag was a Senior Vice President at Info Edge (India) Ltd. and led the Product Management, Operations and Analytics teams for its education business, Shiksha. As Product Head, he was instrumental in driving Shiksha’s transformation into a consumer-centric, mobile-first business that resulted in a massive growth in its user- base. He built a 25+ member team that leveraged the power of consumer behavior, analytics and creative problem solving to launch India’s best-in-class product in the higher education domain. Prior to joining Info Edge, Anurag was with Microsoft in 2013. At Microsoft, he was responsible for global content partnerships and managing the international product strategy to launch Windows 8 consumer apps across platforms. Before joining Microsoft, Anurag was a key member of Nokia’s Location & Commerce (L&C) leadership team for India & South Asia from 2009 to early 2013 and led product management and product marketing for the region. He built a winning portfolio enabling Nokia L&C to become the leading provider of map, rich content and visual products to automotive OEMs in India. He launched products that power map and navigation experiences on signature applications such as Nokia Maps, Microsoft Bing Maps, Yahoo Maps as well as on a broad range of connected devices. Anurag has a MBA from ISB, Hyderabad, India. He holds a M.S. in Computer Engineering from Wright State University, USA and a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University, India. In his spare time, Anurag pursues his keen interest in traveling, sports, solving puzzles and enjoys getting to meet people across cultures.
