David Baser is a senior Product Director at Facebook, where he’s currently leading some high profile efforts including Facebook’s approach to implementing GDPR. He’s a veteran who has spearheaded several major Facebook investments – he was head of product for Facebook Pages and led the new business platform initiatives, especially focused on APAC. He also helped grow the export ads business in China, led self-service ads strategy for Instagram, and led the team responsible for all advertiser-facing tools. He’s a well-respected leader in the company who’s known for his ability to tackle just about any challenge.
