I’m a Product Manager for a commerce platform called Shopify. Specifically, I oversee a group of developer tools (APIs + SDKs) that enable retailers to get creative with where they embed checkout experiences. While I dabbled in code back when Geocities websites and Neopet stores were cool, I am far from a developer! Yet, I manage developer products. This has been a challenge for me – but one that I’ve found extremely fascinating. Working with cross-disciplinary functions is one of the best parts about being a PM, and I’m constantly trying to figure out how to optimize working with each product function in order to facilitate a killer team that creates amazing products for our customers! I’m so thankful to have stumbled onto a career that allows me to be a jack of all trades and wear so many different hats!
