Scaling on-demand economy products
A two-sided marketplace like Uber, ebay or Handy has many product areas such as client (riders app for Uber), operations tools and supply side (drivers app) which helps in facilitating an efficient transaction. I will share such product structures specific to Uber and Handy and the importance of PMs working very closely with the operations teams.
Working in a startup is awesome, but as a product manager we have to propose ideas backed by solid data, I will be sharing features from Uber and Handy which were created solely based on data analysis.
Handy is emerging as a leader in on-demand home services, as we grow PMs have to come up with new ideas to expand our business and grow even faster. I will cover creating an initial pitch/business case to create a new service (a new product offering) and a 4 week launch plan to create a MVP.
